Requiring only a 12mm hole through any door or frame, the DV1 can easily replace an existing peephole or be fitted from scratch in just a few minutes. It is completely self contained being battery powered with an optional DC adaptor.

Each time motion is detected within 2 meters of the door sensor, the unit will automatically wake up from sleep mode and begin recording to internal memory or a low cost SD card up to 4Mb in size. 

Its wide angle lens gives an excellent view and records high resolutions video with the added benefit of sound recording too. Recording continues until movement stops, when the DV1 automatically returns to sleep mode to conserve power. 

Recorded video clips are time and date stamped and can be replayed on the high resolutions LCD screen built into the DV1 or the SD memory card can be removed and images played back using a PC, digital photo frame or digital camera.

Selection of a recording is made easy by an on screen grid allowing you to quickly search through to find the images of a particular visitor.

With a six image grid showing time and date of each recording it is quick and easy to scroll through the DV1 memory to find the recording you want.

This product is ideal for the vulnerable or elderly or even women living alone and concerned about unwanted visitors.

Whether you are in or out the VL1 is working 24 hours a day keeping an eye on visitors to your home or business. High quality 2 mega-pixel images improve the chances of identification and allow images to be easily enlarged.

In the event of an incident you can recover your memory card and playback time and date stamped photos or 10 second video clips on your PC either directly through a card reader or via your digital camera.

Store over 11 hours of video using a 4Gb SD card (not supplied). The DV1 will stored directly to internal memory or to an SD card with the option to transfer images from internal memory to a card. This ensures you never lose a recording even when you have taken your memory card out.

The DV1 uses an on screen menu system to allow you to change settings and manage your recordings.

You can also manually start the unit recording with just a single touch of a button, so should there be a disturbance outside your door you can always quickly record the incident.

It is supplied with USB cable, image management software, mounting screws and full instructions including details on how to download and use the web cam software.
